Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Challenge
Nothing like a bucket list within a bucket list, am I right?!
When we moved to Myrtle Beach in July 2022 after four years of full-time travel, we created our massive Myrtle Beach Bucket List — all the places we wanted to visit, things we wanted to do, and foods we wanted to eat as we explored our new forever home.
But it quickly became clear that one item on our list needed its own special challenge: Play every mini golf course along the Grand Strand.

Myrtle Beach isn’t called the “Mini Golf Capital of the World” for nothing! With over 50 courses at more than 30 locations scattered across the Grand Strand, this is no small undertaking.
So we’re putt-putting our way across Myrtle Beach and documenting our favorite courses, the most challenging holes, the best themes, and all the fun we have along the way. Below you’ll find our complete list of every mini golf course in the Myrtle Beach area, organized by location, with links to posts we’ve written about our adventures.
Let’s get our (mini) golf on!

- Value for money
- Overall family fun factor
- Document any unique features (special holes, prizes for holes-in-one, free replays, adjacent ice cream shops, etc.)
Mini Golf Tips for Families
- Look for deals: Many courses offer discounts for playing earlier in the day
- Ask about replay rates: Some courses let you play a second round at a reduced price, and some offer unlimited play for one price
- Check for combo tickets: If a location has multiple courses or attractions, there’s often a deal for doing more than one
- Bring water: Mini golf in the South Carolina heat is thirstier work than you might expect!
- Wear sunscreen: Even courses with some shade will have you out in the sun for a while — protect your skin!
- Hold onto your scorecard: Several places offer discounts at nearby shops or restaurants if you show your scorecard or receipt
